It was fantastic to see so many people at the National Emergency Briefing on Climate Change event on Saturday, at St Johns. Members of CHVRA went along to see what it was all about – we learned a lot, and it was wonderful to see over 100 people from the local community there. We’ll have a write up in the next week or so.
In the meantime, whether you attended or not, if you’re interested in the climate and how Bromley can make things better the people who live here, there is an online consultation about air quality across the borough.
The draft Air Quality Action Plan (AQAP) sets out the actions Bromley Council proposes to take over the next five years to reduce emissions, protect public health and further improve air quality across the borough. The plan has been developed in accordance with the London Local Air Quality Management framework and builds upon the measures delivered through the current plan.
The consultation is open until midnight on Sunday 18 October 2026. Complete the survey to have your say.
