In conjunction with St John’s church, there will be a screening of the National Emergency Briefing on climate change film at St John’s, Layhams Rd, Coney Hall on Saturday 12 September at 7pm. Tickets are free – so reserve your spot.
In the film, Chris Packham speaks to people with wide range of expertise – from climate scientists and meteorologists to doctors and emergency service workers who explain how the fast-changing climate is affecting our lives.
After the 50 minute film, there will be an opportunity to share ideas and observations and to ask questions. Although our MP and local councillors are invited, this is not a political discussion – it’s an environmental one. Climate change is a cross party issue, and affects us all, adults and children alike.
This is a safe space to talk about climate change, hear the facts and find out what you can do to encourage action on a national scale. Because if we don’t do it now, when?
