Just to let you know, we won’t be printing and delivering our newsletter this autumn. Getting articles together, working with advertisers, printers and our fabulous street reps takes a little more time than our volunteers can handle this season. If we can, we’ll print an issue in the Spring.
In the meantime, do keep an eye here, on our website – and let your friends and neighbours know too! We do publish articles as often as we can.
If you’re holding an event, have some interesting local history, or just some local news you’d like to share, do let us know. The website is for everyone in Coney Hall, not just the members of the CHVRA committee. We’d love to hear from you.
We will not be holding a CHVRA meeting in the Autumn
We’ve found that as evenings get darker, people are less willing to venture out – especially if it’s cold and wet too. So we’ve decided to wait until spring for our next meeting.
As always, please do contact us if you have any issues you’d like us to look into. We’re still here, working behind the scenes. We’ll keep you updated via the website, and if you subscribe to updates (via the box on the homepage), you’ll get them delivered straight to your inbox.
Fancy organising a meet up?
We do know that some Coney Hall residents enjoy the meetings for the opportunity to see some friendly faces. If you’d like to meet up with each each other, perhaps earlier in the day or at a different time, in a venue like the Rabbit Hole, get in touch. If enough of you are available on the same day, we’ll put you all in touch with each other and see what can be arranged.
In the meantime, thank you again to our wonderful advertisers, and our brilliant street reps (and their children and grandchildren!) who help with deliveries. We hope to be in touch in the spring.
