The next Hayes & Coney Hall Safer Neighbourhoods Panel Meeting is taking place on Tuesday 13 October. Peter, one of our Committee members, will be attending and representing the Residents’ Association. Please let us know if there are any issues you would like to be raised at the meeting.
We will be asking for:
- an update on the yellow lines in Layhams Road, and discussing the parking issues in the roads surrounding Coney Hall Rec at weekends
- more information on motor vehicle crime, to establish the numbers of crimes reported VS incidents reported on social media
- any information on the late night bonfires residents have reported – and if there’s anything else residents can do to tackle the issue
The Safer Neighbourhoods Panel comprises of the local Police Team, Local Councillors, the Senior Ranger for West Wickham Common and representatives of Hayes, Coney Hall and Keston residents.
The Panel meets on a quarterly basis. The Police Team provides an update on crime figures and other police related issues.
Panel members have the opportunity to raise issues affecting their areas for discussion. Based on these discussions, the Panel agrees on the priorities for the Police Team for the next 3 months.
