Can your garden support drought research?

As there are so many keen gardeners in Coney Hall and West Wickham, we’re sharing this survey from the Royal Horticultural Society.

Drought is becoming an increasing challenge for gardeners across the UK. Understanding its impact is essential if we’re to develop more resilient gardens for the future.

That’s why the RHS are asking gardeners to take part in a short survey about how drought has affected their gardens. The survey will remain open to complete until midnight on the 30 September 2026.

The insights you provide will help researchers build a better understanding of how plants, gardens and gardeners are responding to prolonged dry conditions. This could help shape future recommendations and horticultural guidance.
