SGN has said that the gas main replacement works in Hayes Road has been delayed following the discovery that the existing utility records were inaccurate.
During excavation, it was found that the gas main differs from the size shown on the original plans. As a result, the works are taking longer than originally anticipated and the connection works at the Cameron Road/Hayes Road junction are now expected to take place during the week starting 28 September 2026.
