As Hayes is right on our doorstep (and residents of Coney Hall are very good at gardens), we’re sharing the news of the Hayes Horticultural Society Summer Show. It’s on Saturday 11 July from 2:30pm to 4:30pm at Hayes Village Hall.
There’ll be plants to look at, plants for sale, certificates and trophies – and tea and cake. They’re planing classes for everyone to show their flowers, fruit and veg, plus classes for cookery and crafts. The Maypole Project, a local childrens’ charity, will have a stand showcasing their work in the community too.
