Open gardens is on today in Coney Hall!

Today (6 June) is Coney Hall’s Gardens for Wildlife Open Day. And in true British fashion, they’re not going to let a bit of rain spoil the fun. So grab an umbrella, pop on your raincoat and get inspired by Coney Hall’s dedicated band of gardeners.

From 12pm to 5pm members of EACH (Environmental Action Coney Hall) are opening their gardens to the public. They’re inviting you to look around so you can see all the ways they’re making their gardens both beautiful and wildlife friendly.

Tickets are just £5 each (proceeds go to charity), and under 16s go free.
Cash only!

The following houses are taking part – if you look at these on a map, the order makes more sense:

  • 21 Southwalk
  • 43 Kingsway
  • 144 Kingsway
  • 30 Queensway
  • 76 Hawthorn Drive
  • 92 Chestnut Avenue
  • 99 Birchtree Avenue
  • 23 Birchtree Avenue
  • 188 Queensway
  • Rouse Farm
  • 55 Gates Green Road
  • 21 Addington Road

So head on out between 12 and 5pm. You can start anywhere – just pay £5 at the first garden you go to. You’ll see Rouse Farm is included too.

We hope we’ll see you there. And if you’re not sure what to expect, expect a warm welcome and some beautiful gardens. Here’s some photos from last year’s event.
