The councillors have let us know about the following roadworks coming up over the next few weeks.
Wickham Court Road, West Wickham Monday 1 June
Riney will be closing Wickham Court Road, West Wickham for carriageway resurfacing for two consecutive days from Monday 1 June.
The road will be closed between the junctions of West Wickham High Street / Glebe Way to Stambourne Way, between 9am to 6pm each day. Local signed diversions will be in place for motorists.
Fox Lane, Keston from Monday 1 June
Thames Water will be closing Fox Lane, Keston from Monday 1 June for up to seven days while they repair two water valves.
The first water valve is at the Fox Lane / Leafy Grove junction. This is the area that will be closed for the first three days, Monday 1 June to Wednesday 3 June.
The second valve is at the Fox Lane / Heathfield Road junction and the road closure will move up to this area from Thursday 4 June to Sunday 7 June.
Local signed diversions will be in place for motorists. Special worded signs will be placed either end of Leafy Grove during the works stating UNMADE ROAD. NOT SUITABLE FOR DIVERTED TRAFFIC to try to deter motorists from using this route.
Hayes Lane, Hayes from Monday 15 June
SGN will be working under temporary traffic signals at Hayes Lane, Hayes from Monday 15 June for gas main replacement work for up to seven weeks.
The works/temporary signals will begin at the junction of Mead Way and will move along Hayes Lane towards the junction of Hayes Road over the seven week period. SGN have agreed to manually operate their signals during peak times.
The works have been coordinated to go ahead while Bromley FC have their season break.
The next phase of the works will be a full road closure of Hayes Road, which has been scheduled during the school holidays as this is likely to be more disruptive out of the two phases.
