Save the date! The team at St John’s have planned a great selection of events for this year’s Christian Aid Week. There’s something for everyone – and everyone is welcome.
10 – 17 May Community Showcase, 2 – 5pm daily
Exciting creative displays from church or community groups at St John’s, with refreshments and different activities or events each day. Plants will be on sale too, and all donations go to Christian Aid.

10 May
- 2:15pm: Roy Chilton performance on double bass.
- 2:30pm, 3:15pm and 4:00pm: bell ringing talks and display.
- 2-5pm: church registers on display
11 May
2:15pm: story time for pre-schoolers
13 May
2:15pm: Story time for pre-schoolers
14 may
3pm: All Saints Concert Band (a small group)
17 may
- 3pm: Roy Chilton performance on double bass

29 May
Speaker Dick Griffin, ex Royal Protection Officer
7.30pm at St John’s.
Dick Griffin is a very amusing speaker and is well-recommended, especially for an older generation. There’ll be drinks and raffle (please bring cash for tickets). Pay by donation, a minimum of £5 on the night.

Bring your own drinks and snacks – some hot and cold drinks will be available. There’ll be a raffle too, so please bring cash for tickets.
