Butterflies are an important part of our local wildlife. They’re sensitive indicators of the health of the environment and play crucial roles in the food chain. As you may have read in previous issues of the newsletter, the volunteers at Well Wood have worked hard to protect and increase the number of butterflies there. Environmental Action Coney Hall (EACH) also care for our butterfly bank in the community orchard, and work hard as a group to increase the biodiversity in our gardens.

So, if you’d like to find out more about how you can encourage even more butterflies in your garden, or how to identify the ones you’ve got, pop along to the talk.

RSPB Bromley are a friendly membership group bringing people together to enjoy and learn about wildlife. All their events are open to everyone, of all ages – members and non-members, wildlife experts and absolute beginners.
