On Thursday 7 May 2026, millions of people will vote in the local elections. A hustings is a public meeting where you get the chance to hear election candidates in your area set out how they would approach particular issues and answer a variety of questions from the audience. This can be a good way to get the information you need to make a decision on how you will vote.
Bromley Experts by Experience are the local Deaf and Disabled People’s Organisation (DDPO), run by and for Deaf and Disabled people and carers in Bromley and neighbouring Boroughs. They are holding a hustings on Wednesday 15 April 2026 focussing on barriers Deaf and Disabled people and carers face in Bromley.
This is a free event and refreshments will be provided:
Wednesday 15 April 2026
2.30pm to 5pm
Bromley United Reformed Church, 20 Widmore Road, Bromley, BR1 1RY
If you would like to attend the hustings and have access needs or dietary requirements, they ask that you register before the event. If you do not have any requirements that they need to know about you do not need to register, just turn up on the day.
