Don’t forget, on Saturday 28 February, you’re invited to join the Coney Hall Park and Community Orchard Wassail. Between 2pm to 3:30pm, you’ll find:
- The Wild Hunt Morris Dancers
- Ivy crown and wreath making
- Wassail procession and libation
- Wassail songs, cider and cake
All generously sponsored by the Rabbit Hole Tavern in Coney Hall. Meet in the orchard at the park – the closest address is Church Drive, Coney Hall, BR4 9JJ (to the side of the car park).
A wassail is an old tradition to wish the fruit trees good health. You’re invited to wear bright colours and bring along an instrument, or something to bang(!). Cash donations to support the work of EACH in the orchard would be gratefully accepted.
