Spring concerts in Bromley

There’s lots of local music groups in Bromley, from orchestras to concert bands, small singing groups to philharmonic choirs. Here’s a quick round up of concerts happening in March – don’t ask us why, but they all seem to be happening on the same day. Choose wisely!

Bromley Singers

Join Bromley Singers on Saturday 21st March, 7.30pm at St. Augustine’s Church, Southborough Lane, Bromley BR2 8AT for their spring concert in support of local charity Hope Into Action.

The Choir will be performing Sir Karl Jenkins’ popular choral work, ‘Adiemus, Songs of anctuary.  Guest contributions by mezzo-soprano Abigail Jones, percussionist Keith Pinnock and organist Jeff Blyth.

Tickets £10 on the door (cash only), under 16’s free.

Hayes Symphony Orchestra

Join Hayes Symphony Orchestra for their Spring Concert on Saturday 21st March, 7.30pm at St Francis of Assisi church, Ravenswood Avenue, West Wickham, BR4 0PW.

Including Weber’s wonderful ‘Der Freischütz Overture’, Schumann’s sublime Symphony No. 2 ‘Spring’, and Grieg’s glorious Piano Concerto, with their superb soloist, Charis Hanning.

Tickets are available online for £12.50 or on the door.

Bromley Philharmonic Choir

Join Bromley Philharmonic Choir for their Spring Concert ‘Brahms German Requiem’ on Saturday 21st March, 7.00pm at  St George’s Church, Bickley Park Road, Bickley, BR1 2BE.
