Councillors’ update on new homes development

For those who don’t subscribe to the councillors‘ newsletter, this is their latest update on the new development from Berkeley Homes.

“Bromley Council has received an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Scoping application from Berkeley Homes for the Hayes Farm site. It is likely to be validated and made public shortly.

This is simply a submission for the Council and the applicant to agree on the scope of any EIA. It is not an application for the development which will come later.

Residents can comment on the EIA, but should bear in mind that this is not the main application and gear their comments specifically towards the EIA process.

Don’t forget to let your Ward Councillors know your views on the Hayes Farm application. You can do this via the Bromley Borough Council Conservatives Group website.

Residents also have until 7th December to comment on Berkeley Homes’ plans for the site via their project website at ravensbourneplace.co.uk.”

Berkeley Homes are proposing to submit a planning application to build 2,200 homes on Green Belt land in Bromley. Find out more.
