The council have said that the Waldo Road Reuse and Recycling Centre will reopen in January, on a limited basis, at weekends only. This is a temporary measure while work to improve the site continues. You will need to book an appointment – they will release more details and a link to book in the new year.
Churchfields Road
A full booking system will continue to be available at the Churchfields Road site. The booking system was introduced to help manage the additional demand following the temporary closure of Waldo Road.
Norman Park
The weekend garden site at Norman Park will close next weekend, 29 November, and will then reopen after Christmas for a short period to help residents recycle their Christmas trees and dispose of other garden waste if needed.
