If you’re looking for things to do with the kids this week:
Trick or Treat Trail – Your Bromley
From Monday 27 to Friday 31 October, ten Bromley businesses will each display a skull with a secret letter. Visit all ten locations, collect every letter, and work out the mystery Halloween word to complete the trail.
Take your completed trail sheet to The Glades on Halloween on Friday 31 October, 10am–3pm to collect your prize at Creepy Craft Corner, where kids can also get creative at the themed craft bar. There will be face painting, friendly skeleton stilt walkers, and photo opportunities. Find out more.
Halloween Spooky Trail – Foal Farm Animal Rescue
Foal Farm has been rescuing and rehoming neglected animals in and around Kent for more than 60 years. Head to Foal Farm this week (except Tuesday!) and join in their Halloween Spooky Trail. Find the animals hidden in Halloween pictures around the farm and collect your prize from the Tea Room.
Entry is £4 per person. No booking required, just pay at reception on the day.
Open 1.30pm-4.30pm daily (except Tuesday), 27-31 October. Find out more
Light the night – St John’s Church
Closer to home, on Friday 31 October from 6-7:30pm, St John’s Church on Layhams Road is Celebrating a Hero. Less of the scary and more of the fun, it’s a drop in for children and families, featuring crafts, games and food. Come dressed as your favourite hero – whoever that maybe! (Think: super hero, super-sporting heroes, someone from a brilliant book you’ve read – you choose!)
