Now the weather is getting colder, it’s a good time to think about sports you might like to play indoors, and Bromley Indoor Bowls might just have the answer. They’re running an open day on Saturday 4th October from 9am to 4pm, so you can try it out for yourself. It’s open to all ages from 8 upwards.

Bowls is a gentle, healthy sport. Come and have a look round the club with its 8 air-conditioned rinks, well stocked bar and restaurant. Then have a free taster session with one of our qualified bowls coaches. We’ll provide the bowls all you need is a clean pair of flat soled shoes.

Officially opened in October 1997, and part funded by the National Lottery, they provide first class facilities all year round. It’s an ideal venue for everything from casual games and friendlies, to inter-club league and national matches.
The centre is equipped to competition standards. They have eight indoor rinks which are used annually in September to host World Championship Qualifiers, and 6 outdoor rinks which have a state-of-the-art all-weather surface.
