This weekend sees Messy Church return to St John’s off Layhams Road. On Sunday 14th September, from 11am to 1pm there will be free fun and crafts, stories and music. Messy Church is a form of church for children and adults that involves creativity, celebration and hospitality. It’s a church for people at all stages of their faith journey and of any age. They’re also hosting a newcomer’s tea at the Rectory from 3pm to 5pm, on 21st September. Find out more.
Autumn Fair – Saturday 11th October
A date for your diary! This year’s Autumn Fair will take place in St Francis Church Hall (just off the High Street). Organised by St John’s in support of Link to Hope’s Shoebox Appeal, there’ll be tasty treats, jewellery & accessories, crafts, gifts and more. Keep your eyes out for the posters which will be going up locally soon.
