The Proper Blokes Club is a community project for men’s mental health. The main aim is to break the stigma of men’s mental health and start talking openly about it.
100s of men join their walk and talks across London every week. No pressure. No judgement. Just ordinary blokes going for a walk, sharing banter, and helping each other deal with life’s pressures.
Going on a walk releases endorphins and helps you feel good about yourself. Being with likeminded men makes it easier to talk openly. But you don’t have to talk if you don’t want to. Just walking, lending a supportive ear and being in the company of likeminded men can help you develop a positive mindset and sense of belonging. Why not try it?
In Bromley, they meet on Sundays at 9.00am, at the entrance to Norman Park Community Sports Centre – the next meeting is this Sunday.
They also meet at other times and places in and around London, so if that timing doesn’t work for you, check their website for other locations.
