The Wetland Centre in Arundel is a haven for wildlife. A 60-acre reserve in the Arun Valley, it’s managed by the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust. If you know what you’re looking for you could spot Peregrine, Kingfisher, Pochard, Oystercatcher, Sand Martins and Cetti’s warbler – and as you’d expect, the RSPB know what they’re looking for.
If you’d like to go, RSPB Bromley have a coach trip planned for Sunday 15 June. If you’d like to join, just email bromleyrspb@gmail.com and ask for a booking form. It costs £25 for the day plus the entrance fee, which is reduced by 15% for the group. Find out more about the group on Facebook, or when you visit Hayes Fair this Sunday.
