New planning application for South Walk

Last year we were contacted by a number of residents who were concerned about a planning application for an ‘HMO’ – a house of multiple occupation – in South Walk. Back in January we posted more information about the application and why it was refused.

As we know this site is of concern for some residents in Coney Hall, we’ve been keeping up to date with the planning applications for this property.

A new planning application has been submitted now. This is for:

Class C3(b) use as a dwellinghouse by not more than six residents living together as a single household where care is provided for residents (Lawful Development Certificate Existing)

The government website says: ‘Class C3(b)’ means “Use as a dwellinghouse (whether or not as a sole or main residence) — by not more than 6 residents living together as a single household (including a household where care is provided for residents).”

Visit the Bromley Planning Website to read about the plans and view the proposal.
