Plant sale: 17 May, 80 Kingsway!

Everyone knows that most economical way to fill your garden is with plants grown from cuttings or seeds. So… did you plant any seeds earlier this year? If the answer is no, then there is a solution: visit the plant sale on Saturday 17 May, in the front garden of 80 Kingsway, from 10am to 2pm. You’ll be able to pick up some nice seedlings there.

If you *did* plant seeds and now you have too many seedlings, there’s a solution for that too! If you’d like to donate plants to the plant sale, drop them off at 81 Kingsway, any time between 5:30pm and 8:30pm on Friday night (16 May). All the proceeds go to Christian Aid.

Our top tip for watering plants and street trees

If the water in your kitchen takes a little while to heat up, run the cold or tepid water into a jug, water bottle or even a bucket and use it to water the garden or our new street trees. It’s easy to do, and much better than watching flow down the drain.
