First Friday is a new youth group for year 7 and above. Open on the first Friday of the month from 7pm-9pm, it’s got pizza, mocktails, games and music. It’s held at SJ’s, 56 Croydon Road, and the first one is this Friday, 2 May.
SJ’s is a community venue, part of Saint John the Baptist Church (off Layhams Road). Adults will be in attendance on the night, just to help make sure things run smoothly, but this is a child-led group, aimed at meeting new friends, hanging out and having fun.
