The Bromley Safer Neighbourhood Board have opened up free tickets for the Crime Summit, on Saturday 1 March. It will be held at the new Bromley Civic Centre at Bromley South from 9am to 1pm and everyone is invited to attend.
It will be a morning of presentations and discussions, focusing topics that have a direct impact on the safety of our local communities. As well as the Police and the London Fire Brigade, there will be representatives from British Transport, the Youth Council and the Met Cyber Crime Unit. Hear about issues such as retail crime, homelessness and violence against women and girls plus a Q & A session with a panel of senior officials.
If you’re planning to attend, please do reserve a ticket to help them work out the numbers.
Also note that entrance to the new Civic Centre is on Westmoreland Road, opposite St Mark’s Church, not the main entrance opposite the station. Entry is free but, other than on-street and public car parks, there is no parking at the new Civic Centre.
Safer Neighbourhood Boards are in place in every London Borough, bringing police and communities together to decide local policing and crime priorities, solve problems collaboratively and make sure that the public are involved in a wide range of other community safety decisions.
