The Post Office is looking to open a Drop & Collect branch at Londis, 10-12 Kingsway, Coney Hall. This is currently at the consultation stage, and if you have any comments, you’re invited to email the Post Office team. Find out more online.
Here’s what they’ve said:
We are pleased to let you know that in collaboration with Payzone, we will be opening a new Post Office service in your area at Londis, 10-12 Kingsway, Coney Hall, BR4 9JF commencing on Monday 2 December at 1pm.
The service will be one of our Drop & Collect branches, which is one of our lighter, flexible branch formats developed to take advantage of the opportunities a vibrant, and increasingly competitive, parcels market offers.
The new Drop & Collect at Londis, will offer Post Office services from a handheld device, providing convenient access for customers to bill payments and prepaid parcel collections and returns. To maximise accessibility to these services that our customers are increasingly seeking, more complex services like personal and business banking will not be available at this branch.
The planned services are available Monday to Sunday, from 7am to 9pm and include:
- Parcel collect and return – prepaid only
- Bill payments
- Mobile top-up service
If there are any unforeseen circumstances which mean the opening date changes, posters will be displayed in store to let customers know.
If you have any comments
The Post Office says: “We want to know what you think and as we plan changes, we will ask for your views on key areas. If we are proposing to move your branch to new premises, we will carry out a six-week local public consultation before we make a final decision on the new location. During that time, you can let us know what you think about our plans. At the end of the consultation, all feedback will be carefully considered before we make a final decision.”
If you’ve got any comments, find out more about the proposal online.
